    What Jackpot King Is

Blueprint Gaming's Jackpot King is a progressive jackpot network attached to dozens of UK slots. This guide documents the exact RTP cost of every verifiable JPK title compared to its standard version.

    The Disclosed 0.49% Contribution

The Jackpot King network funds three progressive tiers: a Royal Pot seeded at £500 and capped at £3,500, a Regal Pot seeded at £5,000 and capped at £35,000, and an uncapped King's Ransom jackpot. Blueprint's disclosed contribution rate is 0.49% of every stake — 0.38% to active pots and 0.11% to the reserve. This is confirmed on Sky Vegas and MrQ paytables. The disclosed 0.49% does not explain the full RTP reduction on most titles. The following sections document every verified pair.

    The Widest Gaps: Flagship Titles

The widest gaps are on the UK's most popular Blueprint titles. The Goonies loses 3.00 percentage points in its JPK version — costing £30 extra per 1,000 spins at £1 stakes. Only £4.90 of that £30 mechanically funds the jackpot. Fishin' Frenzy loses 2.80 points (£28 extra, only £4.90 to jackpot). Ted loses 2.79 points (£27.90 extra). Eye of Horus loses 2.62 points (£26.20 extra). Wish Upon a Jackpot loses 2.43 points at Rank Group casinos (£24.30 extra).

    The Modest Gaps: Newer Titles

Modest gaps exist on newer titles. King Kong Cash loses 0.78 points (£7.80 extra). Rick and Morty Wubba Lubba Dub Dub loses 0.65 points. Bison Rising Megaways loses 0.50 points. Mighty Griffin Megaways loses exactly 0.49 points — the only title where the gap matches the disclosed contribution perfectly. 7s Deluxe actually loses just 0.25 points, less than the contribution rate.

    The Transparent Deluxe Model

One title uses a transparent Deluxe model. Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch JPK contributes a full 3.00% to the jackpot (2.32% active plus 0.68% reserve), preserving the base RTP. The entire RTP sacrifice funds the progressive. This is the exception.

    Operator Configuration Variance

Operator configuration adds further variation. The same JPK title runs at different RTPs at different casinos. Wish Upon a Jackpot King ranges from 92.83% at Rank Group to 95.83% at other operators — a 3.00 point spread. Eye of Horus JPK ranges from 93.03% to 93.69%. Luck O' The Irish Gold Spins JPK ranges from 93.45% to 94.94%. Always check the in-game panel.

    Standard or Jackpot King?

For players deciding between standard and JPK versions: on Fishin' Frenzy, The Goonies, Ted, Eye of Horus, and Wish Upon a Jackpot, the standard version is dramatically better value. The JPK progressive upside does not compensate for the RTP cost unless you hit the King's Ransom jackpot, which has an estimated frequency of 1 in 50 million to 1 in 600 million spins. On newer titles like King Kong Cash, Bison Rising, and Mighty Griffin, the gap is modest enough that the progressive adds marginal entertainment value at a reasonable cost.
