RTPTrack maintains a list of genuinely fixed-RTP slots — titles where the published figure is guaranteed at every UK casino. This week, we made the biggest update since the list was created. We removed seven titles and reclassified an entire provider. The corrected list lives in our fixed-RTP slots complete guide.
What we removed
Starburst (variable since April 2020, six tiers from 90.05% to 99.06% — see the full Starburst analysis), Twin Spin (same April 2020 rollout), Guns N' Roses (same rollout), Fruit Shop (same rollout), Dead or Alive (migrated to variable tiers March 2021), and Gonzo's Quest (reclassified to "status uncertain" — the original may still be fixed but NetEnt has shown willingness to migrate legacy titles).
What we reclassified
Big Time Gaming. Previously listed as universally safe (single-build across all titles). Now classified as split-policy — legacy titles (Bonanza, Extra Chilli, White Rabbit, Kingmaker) remain single-build, but all new releases from February 2024 onward ship with variable tiers reaching as low as 86%.
What triggered the update
RTPTrack's April 2026 investigation into Evolution's acquisitions confirmed that NetEnt's variable-tier programme, launched December 2019, was more extensive than previously documented. The BTG reversal was confirmed by BTG's own June 2025 press release marketing "flexible RTP ranges" on TapCards. Full details in the Evolution acquisition investigation.
What remains genuinely fixed
Blood Suckers (98.00%), Mega Joker (99.00%), Steam Tower (97.04%), Secrets of Atlantis (97.07%), the entire Eyecon catalogue, and BTG legacy titles released before February 2024.
The honest takeaway
The safe list has shrunk from approximately 30 titles to approximately 15 verified titles plus the Eyecon catalogue. This is not comfortable news. But publishing an accurate short list is more valuable than maintaining an inaccurate long one. The methodology and verification approach are documented in the updated guide.
